Amazon Kindle Touch Review

Amazon Kindle Touch Review You’d think with the popularity of tablets being at an all time high, there’d hardly be room for e-readers. That’s an understandable assumption, but it doesn’t give enough credit to what a quality these devices offer. Amazon obviously feels the market is still bustling with activity, as the company currently offers three different e-ink devices — Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard. The Kindle Touch is a device that has immediate appeal because it combines the old technology (barebones Kindle) with the new (multi-touch support). Not to mention it’s a Kindle, which for some is reason enough to hop on board. Consumers, especially ones who have used an older Kindle, will feel comfortable with the device’s simplicity and utilitarian approach. To hear our full Kindle Touch impressions, including a comparison with the original Kindle, check out the video, and stay tuned for further coverage. tchno.be For more tech goodness, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Check Us Out on Google + tchno.be

Some e-readers are color. Old e-readers were only electronic ink technology (b&w only). But later, came the electronic ink in color. Later, brands are using lcd displays as e-readers. My opinion is good e-readers MUST be eyes-friendly; that only can be performed by electronic ink (be b&w or color).

Yes, it can display color PDF, even pictures. It has gray tones… 16 gray tones if I’m not wrong. I have some comics on my Kindle. They look like the old newspapers, exactly like them, no harm to the eyes.

  18. MsCoffeePixie says:

No, that doesn’t occur. The ads are only on the list of books and I think the Amazon eBook shop. If you let the kindle idle too long it WILL go into standby, which is an ad, but ads won’t just randomly pop up on the screen while you’re reading.
Even then, the ads that appear on the book list and eBook store are normally at the very bottom of the screen and they are not very large.

Well, you can launch a web browser on some Kindles, but that’s about it. They don’t offer apps and stuff. You’re best off getting a Kindle Fire or the like if you’re looking for an actual tablet.
eReaders are normally used solely for reading.

I said that “only a retard would accidently flip pages multiple times” indicating that it’s not going to be a problem for a “normal” person. Then I stated that they sounded like an old grandma…in which they seem scared of new technology and speak harsh of it without even trying it first.

Do you know the definition of racist? obviously not.
It’s time for you to grow up now and get a brain.
