HTC Flyer Tablet Review

A video review of the HTC Flyer 7″ Android tablet with WiFi. Check out our full review at: www.mobiletechreview.com The Flyer sells for 9 at Best Buy (price drop) and it runs Android OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense software. HTC went with Gingerbread instead of the tablet-centric Honeycomb so they could heavily customize the tablet with HTC Sense widgets, apps and social networking integration. They also added support for an active digitizer pen in addition to capacitive multi-touch, for you note-takers and artists. The pen is sold separately for a steep .99.

@matdauh89 Well if you find note taking and traveling important then go for the flyer, the pen input is well integrated. If you don’t need the pen then bigger screen is bit more useful i guess.

@4444Miner If by beating the shit out of it you mean being inferior in pretty much any way besides having only a few visible advantages for the fanboys such as yourself to point out then yes.
But stating that ipad is better than the flyer is quite stupid unless your only basis for comparison is playing infinity blade 2 and not being able to manage your filesystem, or use it productively. Well guess what I’m using my flyer as a full fledged substitute to my computer. Try doing that on the ipad.

Can I connect this to a computer monitor with a HDMI input with the same effect as inputting it into the telly? If no is there an easy/cheap/simple way to do this, so that I can see the tablets display on the screen?
