Just to let you know, that was an glitch with SkyFire, not the touchscreen. Plus Iv used that phone and the touch screen was fine for me.

@fwafagirl it could be, but I don’t think it’s the most user friendly phone in AT&T’s line-up. I think any teen on AT&T would probably enjoy the iPhone a lot more, especially considering the Tilt 2 and the iPhone have the same price tag @ $199.99.

Yes you can. The Tilt 2 features a on-screen virtual keyboard that can be used when the phone is closed.

is making phone calls easy? also how long does the battery last? and another thing, when using touch screens you are supposed to use the side or tip of your finger, not the palm of your finger.

Thank you for the info!! I suppose I can deal with the 1-2 second lag – I dont know why phone manufacturer’s haven’t caught up in that field – very frustrating!! Convergence seems like it might have been a bad idea after all!! :) Guess it’s back to the drawing board to figure out which phone to buy….

Thanks for the feedback @lenknermj. I’ve actually already returned the device, as it was just a review unit. I can tell you in my tests, shutter lag is still somewhat of an issue, as there was usually 1-2 second delay after pressing the button as opposed to 3-4 seconds. The browser sluggishness still baffles me, because I was on wi-fi not AT&T’s connection, and I was literally 10 feet from my router. I will say that browsing was usually a much better experience than what was captured on video.

Two things – 1> you only had 1 bar when you were trying to go to your blog – probably why the phone was unresponsive when you re-attempted to select the link. 2> Can you do a video of using the camera? I have the first Tilt, and it takes forever to actually ‘capture’ the photo (literally, about 3-4 seconds after pressing the button) and I would like to see how the new Tilt 2 compares in this field.

    Thanks for the review!!
